Zoya Halloween Nails

Hello everyone :) I hope you are all having a great week so far! This weekend is Halloween weekend! That means parties for some of you, trick-or-treating with your children for others and many other fun things!! I still haven't quite decided what I'm going to do about my nails!! I need to hurry up and decide because I'm going to a party on Saturday! Lol. Okay so for today I have Zoya - Jem. This is two coats layered with one coat of Seche Vite and some Halloween nail stickers I got from Walmart!

What do you think? I like how it turned out. Oh, and Jem might possibly be my new favorite polish!! This is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures really don't do it justice!

Nicole by OPI Holiday collection swatches & review

Hello, all! When I got paid earlier this week, I went to target and bought all four of the new LE Holiday polishes that Nicole by OPI came out with.for this season. Instead of swatching all four of them separately, I did one on each finger because as we all know... glitter is a b*tch to remove! lol. This first picture is three coats topped with Seche Vite.

L-R: Snow-Man of my Dreams, Orna-ment for Each Other, Glitter in my Stocking, My Sleigh's in the Shop
These are GORGEOUS!!

Okay this next shot is one coat of each:
As you can see, this glitter is pretty dense. Obviously not a one-coater but not too sheer either.

This is two coats of each:
You could probably get away with only two coats, especially if you are using this over a base color. MSITS covers the best and is actually similar to Orly - Bubbly Bombshell.

And last, this is three coats (with no top coat)
Sorry for the blurry-ish picture... this really shows all of these glitter though!

Snow-Man of my Dreams- This is polish is a medium blue packed with multi colored glitter. You can see a lot of gold, silver, red & purple. It is probably my favorite out of the collection! Very unique in my opinion.. I don't have anything even CLOSE to this!

Orna-Ment for Each Other-  This is fantastic holiday color! Bright cheery red with lots of gold micro-glitter. I really love this one and I don't usually care for red!

Glitter in my Stocking- This is a very nice gold with plenty of red micro-glitter in it. It covers very nicely and is a great gold glitter to add to your collection!

My Sleigh's in the Shop- This is beautiful fuchsia glitter with gold micro-glitter. I was iffy about this one at first because I normally do not care for this type of color but after seeing it in person I HAD to have it! This polish also covers the best and is most densely packed with glitter.

Over all, I realllyyyyy love this collection. The colors are simple yet very eye-catching and a must have for the holidays! Nothing say holiday like GLITTER!

I hope you all enjoyed seeing these swatches! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Glamrock Halloween mani :)

TGIF everyone! Aren't you glad it's the weekend! I know I am haha :) Today I have another Halloween mani for you. this is two coats of Nina Ultra Pro - Glamrock with OPI -Black shatter layered over my index, middle and pinky finger. The skull on my ring finger was stamped from BM-211 plate with Konad special white polish. I can't believe I didn't buy black shatter sooner! I LOVE IT!

This is my "I just got paid" haul!

Hello ladies! Today began my mini-vacation. I am off work until Monday at 3:00 pm and I plan on just chilling the entire weekend. I've desperately needed a break!! So either I will post a LOT or not much at all. I will probably spend all day tomorrow swatching polish from today's haul. I think that sounds fabulous :) I bought a total of 21 polishes today. Yes, TWENTY-ONE! That is including two top coats from the Color Club sets from Ross. ON TO THE GOODIES!

L-R: Orna-Ment for Each Other, Glitter in My Stocking, My Sleigh's in the Shop & Snow-Man of my Dreams
Okay first off I have the LE Holiday Nicole by OPI polishes. I saw swatches of these and fell head over heels in LOVE. I didn't care much for MSitS but when I saw it in person at Target, I couldn't pass up just buying the entire collection (luckily for my wallet, there are only four!)

L-R: Sally Hansen - Presto Pewter, Revlon - Blue Mosaic & Essie - Wrapped in Rubies
While at Target, I also picked up Presto Pewter and Blue Mosaic because I had $1/1 coupons that I didn't want to go to waste ;) and I picked up Wrapped in Rubies from CVS and I only paid $1.29 for it because I had $7 in extrabucks to spend!! Awesome deal!

TOP L-R: Nomadic in Nude, Earthy Angel, New Bohemian, Rad Nomad, Shabby Drab, Red-cal Gypsy
BOTTOM L-R: Perfect Mol-Ten, Antiquated, Cold Metal, Hot Like Lava, Foil Me Once, Lumin-icent

At eight dollars a pop how could I NOT resist this!? I few weeks back I bought the other half of the Back to Boho collection but they didn't have this set! I'm glad I went back to check if they had got this one in! :)

Hope you enjoyed this haul! I've got some polishes on their way to me in the mail as we speak! I will make a post when they arrive. Also... I MAAAYYY have ordered some goodies for a giveaway coming up next month ;)

This past weekend's mani

Hello everyone & happy Monday! This is a short week for me! I am off work Thursday through Sunday and I couldn't be more excited. Except I will be having a cavity filled on Thursday and I'm not looking forward to that! I've been sporting this mani since Friday night. This is two coats of Zoya - Heather (of course!) with some nail decals I got like... four or five years ago in my Christmas stocking and hadn't used them yet! They were really thick stones so I know I used at LEAST five coats of Seche Vite in hopes they wouldn't fall off when I was filing things at work! I really love how it turned out and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Zoya - Heather. I bought it because I love lavender and duh my name is Heather lol. :)

What do you think? Do you have any nail decals you've had for a while but haven't used yet?

Ulta + Zoya + Rite Aid Haul!

Hello again! On Tuesday I got my package from Zoya. I ordered four polishes during their BOGO Free sale the other week. This are my first four Zoya polishes and I love them!

Left to right:  Heather (of course I had to get this one! hehe) Happi, Kiki & Jem

Then yesterday I stopped by Ulta to take advantage of their OPI sale (buy 2 OPIs get a free top or base coat) so this is everything that I picked up:

Left to right: OPI Crown Me Already, Princesses Rule!, Zom-body to Love and Black Shatter in the duo pack, Natural Nail Base Coat & Revlon Princess

After running some other errands yesterday I decided to stop by Rite Aid as well. I had a 20% off coupon and their polishes were BOGO 1/2 off. I also bought the light green pumpkin polish (not pictured) for my little sister :)

Left to right: Neon orange pumpkin polish, Sinful Colors stripers in Be My Valentine, Flower Girl, Jungle & Jesse's Girl Firefly

I am very happy with all my purchases! Did you pick any awesome polishes this week?

Pumpkin Spice

TGIF! I hope everyone had a fabulous week. I got a LOT done this week. I did some polish shopping (of course) and I also ordered a bunch of Christmas presents! I usually order the majority of Christmas presents I buy online because I HATEE the crowded stores around the holidays! I decided to get a head start this year and  it working out great :) On my nails today, I have two coats of Sally Hansen - Pumpkin Spice layered over one coat of Wet N Wild - Black Creme. I loooove this polish... especially the name! Fall is my favorite season and I love pumpkin EVERYTHING. Me and my best friend always go to starbucks and order the pumpkin spice lattes... mmmm <3 This particular polish was basically IMPOSSIBLE to photograph.. which really upsets me!

Zombie Stitches

Hey everyone! I have yet another awesome Halloween mani for you. I call this Zombie Stitches! Haha. The base color is some french manicure base from Sally Hansen, the green is Sonia Kashuk - Fatigued and the black stitches were done with a Kiss nail art brush. I was inspired by MaD Mani's Frankenstein post the other day and that's how I came up with this. Here is a link to her post: Click here!

The stitches were a little longer than I had wanted but I still really like it! I don't have much experience with using the striper brushes and they can be a pain in the butt! If you have any tips please let me know! :)

Pink Wednesday!

Hello ladies! Last week I ordered a few Zoya polishes when they had them BOGO Free last week and I got them in the mail yesterday! I will do another post tonight about the polishes I ordered. This is officially the first Zoya nail polish I have ever worn on my nails :) For PW I have for you Zoya - Kiki. I LOVE THIS POLISH! Also, Kiki is my cat's name lol. This is two coats :) Enjoy!

What do you guys think?

Mmm... candy corn!

Hello ladies! I had SO much fun doing this mani. I've actually had it on my nails for FIVE days now! Which is definitely a record for me lol. And guess what the best part is!? STILL NO CHIPS!!!! I picked up the China Glaze and Seche Vite set for BCA from Sally's last week (along with Nina Ultra Pro - Glamrock) mostly because I wanted the Seche Vite! I have never used this top coat before and MAN have I been missing out! It's AWESOME! Okay enough of my blabbering.. on to the pictures!

Hoooooly cow.. I didn't realize how crooked my lines were until I uploaded the pictures from my camera haha! Oh well. I did this by hand so you can't expect TOO much from me! :P For this mani I used:

OPI- In My Back Pocket (orange)
Sally Hansen - Mellow Yellow (yellow..duh)
Wet N Wild - French White Creme
Kiss nail art paint - Silver glitter (for the line on my ring finger)
and a Spider sticker from a pack I got at Walgreens! Isn't it cute? :) Here are pictures of the stickers I picked up...

Yes, I picked up two of the same packs... because there weren't multiples of the stickers so I HAD to have a back up! I will probably use these all year hehe :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome week.

First Halloween mani of the year!!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a good weekend, I know I did! This mani is actually from a few days ago. I broke the nail on my middle finger last week so that's why it's so much shorter!! I have another amazing mani coming up for you tomorrow! :) This is two coats of OPI - In My Back Pocket with one coat of Wet N Wild - Creepy Pumpkin and then I added a little skull that came in a pack of stickers from Walmart. Simple and adorable!

I LOVE HALLOWEEEEEEEEN! :)

I hope you guys have a good Monday. Hopefully it will go by quickly! :)

Pink Wednesday! I'm cutting it close.. but it's still Wednesday for like twenty more minutes! hehe

As you may know, one of my friend was killed in a tragic car accident early last Friday morning. So naturally I have been feeling really down lately. I haven't really wanted to post anything or even do my nails (which is a strange feeling for me). However, since I didn't post for last weeks Pink Wednesday, I couldn't miss this week, too! This mani actually lifted my spirits a bit. It's absolutely stunning! This is three coats of Ulta - Material girl. It's  PACKED with gorgeous holo glitter!!! Hands down, this is my favorite Ulta polish!

LOOK AT THAT SPARKLE!!!

Also, I created a Twitter account for my blog :) If you are interested in following me, my username is @PolishedPanda <3

All Hail the Queen!

Hello everyone, today I have Butter London - All Hail the Queen for you. This is two thick coats of this beautiful polish. This is my favorite of the four BL polished I own. It's a nice work appropriate nude color with some gorgeous shimmer and sparkle. I really can't stop staring at my nails!

What's you favorite Butter London polish?
