Share the Love: Day 4, Guest post from Chelsea of Nailed

Hello ladies! I hope you are all having a lovely Thanksgiving with your family and/or friends. Today, I am lucky to have miss Chelsea from Nailed (Click here to check out her blog!) share a guest post on my blog! As you may know, a few fabulous bloggers and myself have put together a guest post circle titled "Share the Love" it has been such an honor to have these ladies as guests on my blog and I am honored to be a guest on all of theirs! Tomorrow we will wrap everything up by posting our last themed mani on our own blogs. Okay, now I'll shut up so you can enjoy Chelsea's post! <3

Hi everybody! I hope you all are having a great week and that all the ladies participating in these guest posts are enjoying it so far- and that all of our readers are enjoying them as well. Thank you Heather for hosting me!

So my love affair with Butter London is no secret. At first I flinched at the idea of paying so much for a single polish but one day I decided to take the plunge and pony up for Wallis, my first Butter. I quickly came to love everything about the brand: the anglophile names, the gorgeous colors and the wonderful formulas. So now no matter how much my wallet protests, I need my Butter fix! :)
My guest post theme is blue so I chose a gorgeous blue Butter London polish to show you today: Lady Muck! What an interesting color this is. Lady Muck is a greyed out pastel blue shimmer. This is kind of like a darker, more pigmented OPI I Vant To Be A-Lone Star. Something about this shade feels very appropriate for winter, but what it really reminds me of is little raindrops on a grey day. But the pastel in this somehow makes it still seem cheerful, if that makes sense. Like I said, a very interesting shade.

Lady Muck's formula is outstanding, as I've come to expect from Butter polishes. I used three coats here, just because I'm kind of OCD about opacity, but I think most (read: less crazy) people would be happy with two. I really love this. Blue and grey are two of my favorite polish colors, so anything that mixes them together-and throws some bonus shimmer on top too-tends to get an A in my book. I've yet to try a Butter London I haven't liked and this one is definitely another keeper!

Thank you so much Chelsea! This was such a wonderful post (and one of my all time favorite polishes!) I'm so glad you joined in with Share the Love!!

Big Smoke

Ughhh it's Monday! I'm ready for this week to be over already LOL! Today I have for you Butter London - Big Smoke. I LOVE this polish. It's a great dark blue. It goes on perfectly and only needed two coats. There's not much else to say other than this really is a fantastic polish!

What do you guys think? Do you have this color and if you do, what do you think about it?

All Hail the Queen!

Hello everyone, today I have Butter London - All Hail the Queen for you. This is two thick coats of this beautiful polish. This is my favorite of the four BL polished I own. It's a nice work appropriate nude color with some gorgeous shimmer and sparkle. I really can't stop staring at my nails!

What's you favorite Butter London polish?

Lady Muck... such an appropriate color choice for this weather!

Hello everyone!! I'm not sure how the weather has been where you live but it's been cool, cloudy and a little rainy here in the Carolinas! I picked up this polish from Butter London when Ulta had the BOGO Free sale. I absolutely love this color! I don't have anything else like it. I've really been into blues lately and this one did not disappoint! This is a pale grayish blue with subtle silver/white micro shimmer. It's simply gorgeous! It will be great for winter, especially with some snowflakes stamped on top! This is two coats of Lady Muck!

Great application! Went on very very smoothly!

After wearing this for three days (which is a long time for me!) and not wanting to take this polish off I added a coat of Wet N Wild - Hallucinate and then a coat of NYC Starry Silver Glitter. It really adds some pizzaz!

Anddddd then after that I decided to stamp over it with an image from BM21 with Konad special white polish.

What do you guys think!? Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. :)

xoxo

HAAAUUULLLL

Okay over the past week I received some nail mail from Traci (The TraceFace Philes) I bought three OPI polishes from her blog sale. She still has some great stuff so go check it out! She shipped very quickly and the packaging was adorable! Definitely happy with that purchase :) I also picked up some other polishes over the past week including some Butter London polishes on Tuesday when Ulta had that awesome sale! Okay, on to pictures!

Milani 3D: HD & Hi-Res
Sunday I picked up these two Milani 3D polishes at CVS since they were BOGO 1/2 off. I LOVE THEM! I plan on going back and getting all of the other colors as well!

OPI: Jade is the New Black, In My Back Pocket & Pamplona Purple
These are the 3 polishes I ordered from Traci. YAY!! I'm so happy! They are all gorgeous and perfect for Halloween and fall <3

China Glaze: In Awe of Amber & Lemon Fizz
I also picked these two up at Sally's when I was buying more acetone because they were on clearance for $1.99!

Butter London: Big Smoke, Lady Muck, All Hail the Queen & Snog
Ulta: Eye Popping Poppy & Pinata-yada-yada

I LOVE THESE BUTTER LONDON POLISHES They are all gorgeous! The only polish they were sold out of was West End Wonderland, which is the one I reallyyyy wanted but that's okay! I am very happy with all of these :)
