Share the Love: Day 5. Wrapping up my 5 Days of Glitter!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and if you are shopping today or already did your shopping on Black Friday, I hope you get everything you need and don't get trampled lol! Today is the last day in my journey with four other amazing bloggers in our Share the Love week. We each did a guest post on each other's blogs and we're finishing up the week by posting our last themed mani on our own blogs. As you may know, my theme for the week was glitter (honesly.. are you surprised? lol). I figured in honor of Black Friday and the big kick-off for Christmas shopping I would do a Christmas themed glitter manicure. I really like how this came out!

What I used:
OPI- Natural Nail Base Coat
Sally Hansen - French manicure natural color
China Glaze - Twinkle Lights (tips)
Sinful Colors nail art - Be My Valentine (red)
Sinful Colors nail art - Jungle (green)
Seche Vite - top coat

Don't forget to check out my guest posts from this week on everyone's blog! I really enjoyed doing this with such great bloggers! I met several awesome people and I am thankful for that! :) You girls ROCK!

Pumpkin Spice

TGIF! I hope everyone had a fabulous week. I got a LOT done this week. I did some polish shopping (of course) and I also ordered a bunch of Christmas presents! I usually order the majority of Christmas presents I buy online because I HATEE the crowded stores around the holidays! I decided to get a head start this year and  it working out great :) On my nails today, I have two coats of Sally Hansen - Pumpkin Spice layered over one coat of Wet N Wild - Black Creme. I loooove this polish... especially the name! Fall is my favorite season and I love pumpkin EVERYTHING. Me and my best friend always go to starbucks and order the pumpkin spice lattes... mmmm <3 This particular polish was basically IMPOSSIBLE to photograph.. which really upsets me!

Zombie Stitches

Hey everyone! I have yet another awesome Halloween mani for you. I call this Zombie Stitches! Haha. The base color is some french manicure base from Sally Hansen, the green is Sonia Kashuk - Fatigued and the black stitches were done with a Kiss nail art brush. I was inspired by MaD Mani's Frankenstein post the other day and that's how I came up with this. Here is a link to her post: Click here!

The stitches were a little longer than I had wanted but I still really like it! I don't have much experience with using the striper brushes and they can be a pain in the butt! If you have any tips please let me know! :)

Mmm... candy corn!

Hello ladies! I had SO much fun doing this mani. I've actually had it on my nails for FIVE days now! Which is definitely a record for me lol. And guess what the best part is!? STILL NO CHIPS!!!! I picked up the China Glaze and Seche Vite set for BCA from Sally's last week (along with Nina Ultra Pro - Glamrock) mostly because I wanted the Seche Vite! I have never used this top coat before and MAN have I been missing out! It's AWESOME! Okay enough of my blabbering.. on to the pictures!

Hoooooly cow.. I didn't realize how crooked my lines were until I uploaded the pictures from my camera haha! Oh well. I did this by hand so you can't expect TOO much from me! :P For this mani I used:

OPI- In My Back Pocket (orange)
Sally Hansen - Mellow Yellow (yellow..duh)
Wet N Wild - French White Creme
Kiss nail art paint - Silver glitter (for the line on my ring finger)
and a Spider sticker from a pack I got at Walgreens! Isn't it cute? :) Here are pictures of the stickers I picked up...

Yes, I picked up two of the same packs... because there weren't multiples of the stickers so I HAD to have a back up! I will probably use these all year hehe :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome week.

Purple & Silver... such a perfect combo!

Hello all! I hope you had a fabulous weekend :) This design I'm showing you is actually from several weeks ago but I never got around to posting it! So that's why my nails are so short in the picture lol :) And sadly, out of the 7 pictures I took, only one came out really good so here you go:

This is two coats of Savvy - Deep Amethyst stamped with Sally Hansen - Silver Sweep from plate m78! I REALLY love it! It almost looks like water marbling! :)

Passion Pink Kisses

Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend :) Mine only consisted on today because I worked all day Friday and Saturday :( and I can assure you, today went by WAY too quickly! I did get some shopping done though hehe, I will post a haul later! This is two coats of Nina Ultra Pro - Passion Pink (GORGEOUS on it's own!!) with two coats of INM - Norther Lights (2 coats for extra holo sparkle!) and then an image stamped from plate BM02 with Sally Hansen - Silver Sweep! <3

This is probably my favorite pink, and my "go-to" polish. I absolutely ADORE it! :)

My first french mani!

Good morning everyone! I have a french manicure to show you today! I have had acrylics with white tips before, but I have never had a french manicure or done one myself! I was so excited for my nails to actually be long enough without looking dumb :) So here you go!

It's not perfect but it turned out better than I hoped!! I used Sally Hansen French Manicure - Natural color and then used  a KISS nail art polish in white. Then I added a flower sticker and one coat of China Glaze - Patent Leather Top Coat. :) <3

Pretty Pink :)

I feel like I should have waited until tomorrow to post this for Pink Wednesday but I have seriously been slacking with the posting hahahaha. :) This is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Pink Blink with Sally Hansen - Pink Promise over top, stamped with Konad special white polish from image plate m78 :) I like it a lot!

The stamp is smeared in a few places but I think this turned out cute! It was kinda difficult using this image because it's for a full nail and my nails are so short lol so I just kinda rolled with it!

I Wanna Go

HEY GUYS! I am sooo sorry that I have been MIA for over TWO WEEKS! I have been absolutely SWAMPED with work... it's crazy. The past few weeks have been insane with everyone going on vacation! Okay so anyway, I am back now and I have lots of manis to show you all this weekend! For today's mani, I did a Britney Spears inspired look. In her music video for her song "I Wanna Go" she wears a similar look to this.

Here's a look at her nails in the music video:

and here is MY mani :)

I used Wet N' Wild - Black Creme on my pinky and index, Wet N Wild - French White Creme on my thumb and ring finger (stamped with Black Creme using the zebra image from m57) and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Speedy Sunburst. I LOVE it!!! I also love Britney Spears so I definitely love rocking this :)

Happy Thursday!

Pink Wednesday!

Okay for today's pink Wednesday, I used a SUPER old polish that I had. I have literally had this polish for over ten years! The front label was torn off but I remembered it was a Sally Hansen polish and thankfully the sticker on the lid was still attached so I could google it! Okay so the color I'm wearing today is Sally Hansen "Teflon Tuff" - Pink Metal. I LOVE this color! It's bright and soft at the same time. It covers great in just two coats and it still applies wonderfully for being so old! I didn't have to add thinner or anything! After applying two coats, I added one coat of Revlon - Belle to add some sparkle :) So here you go:

What do you guys think!? Do you have any old polish that you still use?

Lilac Zebra

Hello everyone! As you may know, I am at the beach right now soaking up the sun :) this is the first time I am scheduling a post so I hope this works! Anyway, for this design I used several polishes. I started off with one coat of Sally Hansen - Lacey Lilac (lavender), added one coat of Sally Hansen - Pink Promise (a GORGEOUS sheer pink glitter), then added one coat of Revlon - Belle (silver multi-sized glitter and finally used my m57 plate stamped with Konad special white polish. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this layering combo. Seriouslyyyyy!!!! I actually kept this on my nails for almost four days (which is like a record for me haha!)

I literally took like a ZILLION pictures and I just couldn't capture the true beauty of this look. It's sad! You should definitely try it if you have those polishes because it's awesomeeeee! I hope everyone has a FABULOUS weekend (I know I will!)

xoxo Heather

Rainbow Sprinkles!

Happy Friday ladies! :) This mani totally reminds me of cupcakes or ice cream sprinkles! I got the idea from Jennifer's post last week! Click here to view her post! I realllyyyyy love this!!! This look looks fabulous with any pastel colors :) I will have to try it with like a mint green or something as well! Okay so I started off with one coat of Sally Hansen InstaDri - Blue-Away and then added one-two coats of Wet N Wild - Party of Five Glitters and then added one coat of Pure Ice - Cherish (a very creamy-sheer nude color). I liked the look just like that, but I am such a fan off matte-ifying everything, so I finished by added one coat of e.l.f. matte top coat.

One coat of Blue-Away with one coat of Party of Five Glitters on top

One coat of Cherish added on top

And finally with the matte top coat!

xoxo Heather
