GLITTERBOMB THURSDAY & update

Hello ladies!! As some of you may know, I am obsessed with glitter & anything sparkly (my mom calls me a blackbird hahaha)!!! So I have decided to start a weekly post for myself called GlitterBomb Thursday! I am really excited to do this :) So here is my first GB post:

What I used:
OPI Natural Nail base coat
China Glaze - Icicle (one coat)
OPI - Crown Me Already! (one coat)
China Glaze - Snow Globe (one coat)
Seche Vit

I LOVE THIS GLITTER COMBO!!! I don't really care for Snow Globe over solid colored polish, but it looks FABULOUS over glitters! CMA is hands down my FAVORITE glitter in the entire world! It's so dense and super gorgeous!

As for the update... I start massage school on Monday... YAY! I am SO excited you guys!! I have been waiting to do this for a while and I'm really excited to finally start school. I will be a full-time student and I will have class Mon-Fri so I may slack off a bit on my blog. but I assure you my nails will always be beautifully polished! ;) Because of school (and the loan money that will cover most of my bills, thankfully!) my hours will be cut at work so I may actually end up having more time to spend on my blog (since I get out of school at 3 and will only be working three days a week)! The only down-side to being in school is that I will have to keep my nails very short while I'm still practicing so I don't scratch anyone :( My massage therapist is able to have her nails longer (about as long as I let mine get) and she has never scratched me but she has also had more practice! So I am warning you now... you will be seeing nubs for a while! :(

I hope you guys enjoy my weekly glitterbombs, because I sure love having outrageously sparkly nails ;)

Have a fabulous day! <3

Cost is No Issue ;)

Hello ladies! I am SO sorry for the disappearance lately! The girl I work with has been using all her PTO days so I've had to work a lot more than I usually do. Along with the craziness of the holidays quickly approaching, it has consumed all of my time! Today I have Wet N Wild - Cost is No Issue from the Ice Baby collection.

This is two coats. I also added a coat of INM Northern Lights, a coat of Gelous and topped it off with SV of course :) I hope you enjoy! I LOVE this glitter!! :) SO fun and bright!

Share the Love: Day 5. Wrapping up my 5 Days of Glitter!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and if you are shopping today or already did your shopping on Black Friday, I hope you get everything you need and don't get trampled lol! Today is the last day in my journey with four other amazing bloggers in our Share the Love week. We each did a guest post on each other's blogs and we're finishing up the week by posting our last themed mani on our own blogs. As you may know, my theme for the week was glitter (honesly.. are you surprised? lol). I figured in honor of Black Friday and the big kick-off for Christmas shopping I would do a Christmas themed glitter manicure. I really like how this came out!

What I used:
OPI- Natural Nail Base Coat
Sally Hansen - French manicure natural color
China Glaze - Twinkle Lights (tips)
Sinful Colors nail art - Be My Valentine (red)
Sinful Colors nail art - Jungle (green)
Seche Vite - top coat

Don't forget to check out my guest posts from this week on everyone's blog! I really enjoyed doing this with such great bloggers! I met several awesome people and I am thankful for that! :) You girls ROCK!

Nicole by OPI Holiday collection swatches & review

Hello, all! When I got paid earlier this week, I went to target and bought all four of the new LE Holiday polishes that Nicole by OPI came out with.for this season. Instead of swatching all four of them separately, I did one on each finger because as we all know... glitter is a b*tch to remove! lol. This first picture is three coats topped with Seche Vite.

L-R: Snow-Man of my Dreams, Orna-ment for Each Other, Glitter in my Stocking, My Sleigh's in the Shop
These are GORGEOUS!!

Okay this next shot is one coat of each:
As you can see, this glitter is pretty dense. Obviously not a one-coater but not too sheer either.

This is two coats of each:
You could probably get away with only two coats, especially if you are using this over a base color. MSITS covers the best and is actually similar to Orly - Bubbly Bombshell.

And last, this is three coats (with no top coat)
Sorry for the blurry-ish picture... this really shows all of these glitter though!

Snow-Man of my Dreams- This is polish is a medium blue packed with multi colored glitter. You can see a lot of gold, silver, red & purple. It is probably my favorite out of the collection! Very unique in my opinion.. I don't have anything even CLOSE to this!

Orna-Ment for Each Other-  This is fantastic holiday color! Bright cheery red with lots of gold micro-glitter. I really love this one and I don't usually care for red!

Glitter in my Stocking- This is a very nice gold with plenty of red micro-glitter in it. It covers very nicely and is a great gold glitter to add to your collection!

My Sleigh's in the Shop- This is beautiful fuchsia glitter with gold micro-glitter. I was iffy about this one at first because I normally do not care for this type of color but after seeing it in person I HAD to have it! This polish also covers the best and is most densely packed with glitter.

Over all, I realllyyyyy love this collection. The colors are simple yet very eye-catching and a must have for the holidays! Nothing say holiday like GLITTER!

I hope you all enjoyed seeing these swatches! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Pumpkin Spice

TGIF! I hope everyone had a fabulous week. I got a LOT done this week. I did some polish shopping (of course) and I also ordered a bunch of Christmas presents! I usually order the majority of Christmas presents I buy online because I HATEE the crowded stores around the holidays! I decided to get a head start this year and  it working out great :) On my nails today, I have two coats of Sally Hansen - Pumpkin Spice layered over one coat of Wet N Wild - Black Creme. I loooove this polish... especially the name! Fall is my favorite season and I love pumpkin EVERYTHING. Me and my best friend always go to starbucks and order the pumpkin spice lattes... mmmm <3 This particular polish was basically IMPOSSIBLE to photograph.. which really upsets me!

Mmm... candy corn!

Hello ladies! I had SO much fun doing this mani. I've actually had it on my nails for FIVE days now! Which is definitely a record for me lol. And guess what the best part is!? STILL NO CHIPS!!!! I picked up the China Glaze and Seche Vite set for BCA from Sally's last week (along with Nina Ultra Pro - Glamrock) mostly because I wanted the Seche Vite! I have never used this top coat before and MAN have I been missing out! It's AWESOME! Okay enough of my blabbering.. on to the pictures!

Hoooooly cow.. I didn't realize how crooked my lines were until I uploaded the pictures from my camera haha! Oh well. I did this by hand so you can't expect TOO much from me! :P For this mani I used:

OPI- In My Back Pocket (orange)
Sally Hansen - Mellow Yellow (yellow..duh)
Wet N Wild - French White Creme
Kiss nail art paint - Silver glitter (for the line on my ring finger)
and a Spider sticker from a pack I got at Walgreens! Isn't it cute? :) Here are pictures of the stickers I picked up...

Yes, I picked up two of the same packs... because there weren't multiples of the stickers so I HAD to have a back up! I will probably use these all year hehe :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome week.
